Checkout King
Checkout King is darts checkout practice with a streak to chase. You get random finishes and three darts for each one. Check it and your streak grows, miss it and the streak is back to zero. Sridu shows the way out before every dart and keeps your record.
- Play alone for a record or side by side with friends
- The way out shown as tiles and updated after every dart
- Each dart shows what it leaves, and a violet lock appears once the finish is gone
- Every finish in one row, with your streak and record right next to it
- Classic rules by default, or pick another range, out, number of darts or sudden death

The rules
How a run works
It’s the classic checkout drill: one finish per visit, for as many visits as you like.
- You get a finishA random number from the range you picked, 41 to 98 by default. You only get finishes that can be checked out in three darts.
- Three darts to check outDouble out: you need exactly zero, with the last dart in a double or the bullseye. Scoring too many, reaching zero on a single or leaving 1 is a bust.
- Check it and the streak growsIf you miss, bust or are left with no way out, the streak drops back to 0. Either way, the next finish comes straight up.
- Your record is your longest streakThrow for as long as you like or set a number of finishes. Sridu saves your best streak.
In the game
You always know the way out
Checkout King is about knowing your way out. This is what the screen shows while you throw:
- The way out as tiles: one tile per dart with the next one lit, recalculated after every dart. The field to aim at lights up on the board.
- What each dart did: “leaves 36”, “Check”, “Bust” or “no way out”.
- The violet lock: the board locks after a bust, or when the score left can’t be checked out with the darts in your hand. Any darts you still hold don’t count.
- Your finishes in a row under the panel. Checks are green with one dot per dart used, misses are red, and the current streak is underlined. Next to the row you see your checkouts, your checkout rate, the streak and your record. With more players it also shows how far ahead or behind you are.
- What is on the line: when you have a streak going, the panel tells you. Before your last dart it turns amber, in sudden death red.
- The big moments: every check gets a callout on screen. Streaks of 3, 5, 10, 15 and so on get a bigger one, and a new best gets the biggest. When a streak of 3 or more ends, you see that too.
- The caller announces every new finish: “Anna, you require 81”.
Scoring
Four ways a finish ends
Only a check keeps your streak going:
- Left40CheckStreak +1
- D20Check
Exactly zero, with the last dart on a double or the bullseye. The streak goes up by one and the next finish comes up.
- Left40BustStreak 0
- 20leaves 20
- 20Bust
Zero on a single, more than you needed, or 1 left. The finish is gone and the board locks, so the dart you still hold doesn’t count.
- Left80No way outStreak 0
- T16leaves 32
- 5no way out
27 left with one dart can’t be checked out. The app ends the finish right there instead of letting you throw for nothing.
- Left60MissedStreak 0
- 20leaves 40
- 20leaves 20
- 10leaves 10
Three darts gone and still 10 left. The streak drops back to 0 and the next finish comes up.
Setting · Range
Which finishes come up
There are five ranges, from plain doubles up to the big finishes. Scores that can’t be checked out in three darts, like 163 or 169, never come up.
- 2 to 40DoublesLeft32Checkout · 1 dartDouble Out
- Dart 1D16
Even numbers go out with one double, odd ones need a single first. Pure doubles practice.
- 41 to 98DefaultLeft57Checkout · 2 dartsDouble Out
- Dart 117
- Dart 2D20
The classic range. Most finishes take two darts: a single or a treble to set up, then the double.
- 61 to 120HarderLeft100Checkout · 2 dartsDouble Out
- Dart 1T20
- Dart 2D20
Now you need the trebles. 100 is T20 and D20, and anything above 110 takes three darts.
- 99 to 170Big finishesLeft121Checkout · 3 dartsDouble Out
- Dart 1T20
- Dart 2T7
- Dart 3D20
Mostly three-dart finishes, all the way up to 170. For the days you want to feel like a pro.

- Dart 1Bull
- Dart 2D20
Everything mixed, from a plain double up to 170. You never know what comes next.

Double, master or single out
Here is 80 left in each mode, with the way out the app shows:
- Double OutDefaultLeft80Checkout · 2 dartsDouble Out
- Dart 1T16
- Dart 2D16
The classic: the last dart has to be a double or the bullseye. 80 is T16 and D16.
- Master OutEasierLeft80Checkout · 2 dartsMaster Out
- Dart 1T20
- Dart 2D10
A treble checks out too, so more scores go out in one dart, like 57 on treble 19.
- Single OutEasiestLeft80Checkout · 2 dartsSingle Out
- Dart 1T20
- Dart 220
Any segment checks out, the fat single too. Good for learning to work out finishes.
Setting · Darts per finish
One visit, more visits, or par
The classic gives you one visit per finish. More visits make it easier, par makes it harder:
- 3DefaultVisit 1 · 90
- Bullleaves 40
- 20leaves 20
- D10Check
The classic: one visit of three darts for every finish.

- 20leaves 50
- 5leaves 45
Visit 2 · 45- 5leaves 40
- D20Check
Two or three visits for every finish. Whatever is left carries over to your next visit. A bust costs you the visit and puts the score back to where it was. Room to set up a finish.
- ParHarder

Tips
Longer streaks in your darts checkout practice
- Learn your checkouts. The tiles show a good route for every score. Call your route before you throw, then compare it with the tiles. Every route is also in the darts checkout chart and calculator.
- Leave a friendly double. 32 is the favourite. Hit the single 16 instead of the double and you still have 16 left, which is double 8.
- Start small. 2 to 40 is pure doubles practice. Move up to 41 to 98 once your streaks get long.
- Use more darts to learn the setup. With 6 darts a bust only costs you the visit, and you practise the visit that sets up your double.
- Too easy? Go for par. You only get the minimum number of darts, so every setup dart has to be on target.
- Mind the amber. When the panel turns amber, your streak rides on the next dart. Take your time over it.
- Every finish from 61 to 100. Catch 40 takes them in order, six darts each, with 3 points for a checkout in two darts.
