Elimination
In Elimination darts everybody counts down from 301 as in X01. Land exactly on another player’s score and they go back to the start. That turns a race to zero into a hunt, and after every dart Sridu shows you who is within reach.
- Two players or a full room, bots included
- A live list of who you can send back, and with which field
- The field to aim for lights up on the board
- Start on 301, 501, 701 or any score, with Single, Double or Master Out
- You decide when a hit counts and how far back a player goes

The rules
How a leg of Elimination darts works
Everybody starts on the same score and you take turns, one visit each.
- Count down to zeroEvery dart comes off your score, as in X01. The default is Single Out, so you can finish on any field.
- Land on their score, send them backStop exactly on another player’s score and they go back to the start. If several players share that score, one dart sends them all back.
- Safe at the startA player still on the start score can’t be sent back. They have nothing to lose yet.
- A bust takes it all backBust and the whole visit is scrapped, send backs included. Everybody you hit gets their old score back.
- First to zero winsThe first player to check out wins the leg. Play a single leg or first to 2, 3 or more.
In the game
See who is within reach
Below the turn panel, the app lists every other player with their score and how many points away they are. It updates after every dart:
- Ben150−2020
- Cleo107−63In reach
- Finn12−158Too far
- Eva188Passed
- Dan301Safe at the start
- 20
One dart away. The field that does it, also lit on the board. If several players are one dart away, the list and the board pick the leader.
- In reach
Reachable with the darts you have left, but not with one.
- Too far
Further away than your remaining darts can score this visit.
- Passed
You are already below that score. You can only count down, so they are safe from you.
- Safe at the start
Nobody can be sent back from the start score.
The list sticks to the rules. With Double In it only starts once you have doubled in, and it never offers a score that would bust you.
Setting · A hit counts
After every dart or after the visit
Anna has 190 left and throws double 20, single 19 and treble 20. Ben is on 150, Cleo on 131:
- After every dartDefault
- 190Anna
- 150Ben
- 131Cleo
- 71
Every score a dart lands on counts. On her way down Anna lands on Ben’s score, then on Cleo’s, and sends both back.
- After the visitStricter
- 190Anna
- 150Ben
- 131Cleo
- 71Nobody
Only the score at the end of the visit counts. The same darts send nobody back. To hit Ben, Anna would have to stop on 150.
Setting · Back to
Back to the start, or half the way
This decides how much a hit costs. Ben started on 301 and has 101 left when Anna lands on his score:
- Back to the startDefault301
101→ 3010The classic rule. Ben had 101 left and loses all 200 points he scored. One dart can turn the whole game.
- Half the wayGentler301
101→ 2010Ben loses half of what he scored, 100 of his 200 points. It still hurts, but one dart can’t wipe out a strong start.
In the game
You can’t miss a send back
In Elimination the big moments often happen to players who aren’t even at the oche, so the app makes sure the whole room notices:
- A big “Sent back” on screen with the name and the new score, plus a sound.
- The card of the player who was hit shakes, counts back up and gets a “Back” tag for the rest of the visit.
- The dart itself shows who it sent back instead of its points.
- The caller calls the score as usual, then “Ben, back to 301”.
- With “After the visit”, any player whose score you are on right now is marked “Stands here”, so you know who goes back if you stop.

Tips
How to hunt and how to hide
- Go for the leader. Sending back a player on 40 changes the game far more than one on 250. That is why the list and the board point to the leader first.
- Look at the list before you throw. A player 19 away needs just a single 19, which is often easier than scoring for yourself.
- Don’t stop just below somebody. If you sit a few points under another player, they can reach you with one easy dart. Stopping a little higher or lower keeps you safe.
- If you can finish, finish. When one dart can check out, the board lights the finish first. Winning the leg beats any send back.
- Big group, mixed levels? Half the way keeps everybody in the game. Regular opponents? After the visit makes every stop a decision.
