High Score
High Score darts is as simple as it gets: eight rounds of three darts, and the highest total wins. Beginners can join in straight away, and for everyone else there is no better way to practise scoring. Sridu shows how many points you need to catch the leader and draws each of your rounds as a bar.
- Solo, one on one, in a group or in teams, bots too
- 1 to 30 rounds, or a race to 300, 500 or 1000
- In the last round you see exactly what you need to overtake
- Every round as a bar, your best one in green
- Optional Fat Bull and a points head start for any player

The rules
How High Score darts works
Easy to learn, and there is nowhere to hide. Only your scoring counts.
- Every dart countsWhatever you hit goes on your score. A treble 20 is 60, the bullseye 50, a miss nothing. You can’t bust, and there is no double to finish on.
- A fixed number of roundsEight by default. Players take turns with three darts each, so 180 is the most you can score in a round.
- Highest total winsAfter the last round the highest total takes the leg. If two players are level, the one with the best single round wins.
In the game
Always know where you stand
What you see on screen while you throw:
- Ahead or behind: the turn panel shows by how many points you lead or trail.
- The last round: you see exactly how many points you need to overtake, counting down with every dart. If you can no longer catch up, the panel says so.
- Your rounds as bars under the turn panel show what each round scored. The round you are throwing fills up live, your best is green, and above the bars you see your average per round.
- Big visits are celebrated. A ton, a ton forty and a 180 each get a callout and confetti.

Rounds or a race
Two ways to end a leg:
- RoundsDefaultAnnaPer round 58.8
A fixed number of visits, 8 by default. The highest total after the last round wins.
- Up to 500Race
- Anna512
- Ben455
- Cleo470
Race to 300, 500 or 1000. Anna passes 500, but the round is still played out, so Ben and Cleo get their visit. Then the highest score wins.

Setting · Fat Bull
25 and 50, or 50 and 50
How much the bull is worth:
- StandardDefault25 · 50
The outer bull is 25 and the bullseye 50, as on any steel-tip board.
- Fat BullSoft-tip style50 · 50
The whole bull counts 50, like on the soft-tip machines in the pub. That makes a bull worth almost as much as a treble 17.

- Fat BullOff by default. Switch it on and the outer bull counts 50 too.
- HandicapsGive any player a head start in points. A beginner could start on 100 while everyone else starts on 0.

Tips
Score more
- Stay on the 20. The big scores come from the treble 20. Drift off it and the 5 and 1 either side cost you.
- Struggling on the 20? Switch to the 19. A stray dart lands in the 7 or the 3, which hurts less.
- Warm up with it. A few rounds of High Score before a match show you how well you are scoring today.
- Watch your bars. Steady scoring beats one big round. The bars show you where your rhythm dropped off.
- Scoring with a ceiling. In Nine-Dart Century you want as close to 100 as you can get with nine darts, and going over puts you out.

More ways to play
Big scores only count if they divide by five in All Fives, the old pub game that is first to 51.
