Which way to score darts suits you?
There are several good ways to score your darts automatically, or not at all. This page describes the usual approaches side by side, with a few products as examples, so you can see where Sridu fits and what matters for your board.

Four approaches
A rough guide to typical approaches, not a test of individual products. Every maker does things a little differently, so check the details on their website before you buy.

Which one fits
Each approach has its strengths
- SriduFor you if you like to tinker a little, already have a laptop and a few webcams, or want to keep everything on your own devices: no account, runs offline, can run on your own server. It is a young project made by one person and still in beta, so expect rough edges and tell us when you find one.
- A ready-made camera kitFor you if you want to unpack, mount and play without building anything. You get hardware and software from one maker, often with support and a warranty, and pay for it once or through a subscription model.
- A platform with your phone or own camerasFor you if you want to start quickly, sometimes with nothing but your phone, and play online with a large community. Most of these platforms work with an account and offer extra features through a subscription.
- By handCosts nothing, works on any board and needs no power or setup. Counting your own checkouts is part of darts, and almost every system can be scored by hand too. Sridu works as a free online darts scorer as well.
About this page
Approaches, not products
We describe typical approaches on purpose. Other products appear only as examples, and we don’t rate them. What a particular kit or platform can do and what it costs changes over time and is best read on its maker’s website. Spotted something that doesn’t fit? Let us know.
