Many camera scoring systems need an account and the maker’s servers. If those go down, change their prices or disappear, your board goes quiet. Sridu is a folder of files that runs in your browser. It is the same app wherever you put it.

- At the boardA laptop or mini PC with Chrome or Edge, and one to four USB cameras. One camera works, two measure the tip just as precisely, and three or four also see darts hidden behind others.

Multiplayer
Online, without our server
Two boards connect directly and encrypted. Public brokers only pass on the handshake. That is why online play also works from a plain copy of the app on any web space.
- Online matches. Each player throws at their own board with their own cameras. One device keeps the score.
- Boardcam. You see a small live picture of whoever is throwing. It is sent only while that player is at the oche.
- Lobby and chat. See who is around, challenge them to a match, and send private messages encrypted end to end.
- Tournaments. Players sign up by link or QR code. Every match runs between the two boards, and the result comes back by itself.
- New device, same player. Move your ID and history by QR code and a four-digit check number. No password is needed.

Every full hour brings four new tasks, from easy to extreme. Everyone in your league gets the same ones. The difficulty isn’t guessed: thousands of simulated visits set each task for your league’s average.

Run the club night
You can set up a tournament in the app and play it on one board or across many. You can also give your club its own Sridu on your own domain, with your own lobby and a leaderboard for your members.

Detection
Measured, not guessed
One click sets up the cameras and measures the board, and the 20 is found at any camera angle. Each dart is measured at full camera resolution: every camera fits the dart’s axis, and the axes are intersected on the board.
- ±0.5 mm calibrationEvery wire and ring is measured in the camera pictures, and lens distortion is taken out.
- Looking twiceClose to a wire? The cameras measure again, and the scatter shows the real error.
- Tight groups and bounce-outsA tight group is never mistaken for a takeout. A dart that falls out counts zero.

FAQ
Questions
Is Sridu free?
Yes, for private use and for non-profit clubs. Sridu is source-available: you can host it yourself, change it and pass your changes on. It may not be used commercially, run as a public service for others or used to train AI systems. For anything bigger, just ask.
What happens if your server goes down?
Nothing. The app runs in your browser and keeps working offline once it is loaded. You can also keep your own copy on your computer or server. Online matches connect the two boards directly, not through us.
How many cameras do I need?
One to four USB cameras, and 720p is enough. Three are the sweet spot. One camera works but only estimates the tip. Two measure it just as precisely, and three or four also see darts hidden behind others. Without cameras you can enter scores by hand.
Which devices and browsers work?
At the board, a computer with Chrome or Edge is recommended, because camera controls such as exposure and focus only work there. A phone or tablet can join any match by QR code as a second screen.
Can I host it on my own domain?
Yes. There is a Docker setup for your home network, and a hardened one for your own domain behind Cloudflare Tunnel, with its own lobby, a moderated chat and an online leaderboard. Any static web space works too.
How accurate is it?
The calibration measures every field boundary in the camera pictures: ±0.5 mm on real cameras. In demo mode, the average dart error is below 1 mm. The test-throw view shows in millimetres how good your own setup is.
How does it compare to Autodarts or Scolia?
It is the same idea: cameras around a steel-tip board that score automatically. The difference is ownership. Sridu runs in your browser without an account, you can host it yourself, and it is free for private use. A detailed, dated comparison will follow.
