Darts Football
Darts Football starts with a kick-off on the bull. Only the player on the ball can score goals on the numbers, so the other one goes for the bull to win it back.

The rules
How a darts football match works
Two players take turns, one visit each. What you aim at depends on whether you have the ball.
- The bull wins the ballAt kick-off nobody has it. The first bull takes possession, and the 25 counts as well as the bullseye.
- With the ball, score goalsThrow at the numbers of your range on the chosen ring, doubles by default. Every hit is a goal, and you carry on at the next number.
- Without it, win it backWhile your opponent has the ball, your numbers count for nothing. Only a bull wins it back, and then it is your turn to score.
- Score them all to winThe first player to score every number of the range wins the match. A bullseye also scores a goal on the spot, which speeds things up.
The pitch
You always see who has the ball
Under the target the app draws a pitch with one lane per player. Each lane shows the numbers of the range and fills in the goals scored. The ball sits on the lane of whoever has it, right on their next goal. Three moments from a match:

Your opponent has the ball. The target turns amber, and only a bull wins it back.
The turn panel changes colour with possession. The target, its heading and the frame are green when you have the ball and amber when you don’t. A small ball in the corner marks the player card of whoever has it. When possession changes, “Ball won” appears in large letters and the caller says who has the ball now.

Every dart in the ring is a goal, on any number and as often as you like. The range of numbers only sets how many goals win: 1 to 10 means first to 10 goals. You still need the ball first.
Setting · Ball won by
The fight for the ball
How hard the ball is to win changes the whole match:
- BullDefault
The 25 or the bullseye wins the ball. Possession changes often and the game stays open.
- BullseyeHarder
Only the 50 wins it. Players keep the ball longer, so every bullseye is a big moment.
Ball lost on a blank: with this on, a full visit on the ball without a goal loses it. The ball goes back to the middle for a new kick-off, and the next bull takes it. Matches get faster, and nobody can sit on the ball.
In the game
What you see on screen
- The big target shows your next goal in green when you have the ball, for example “D7”. Without the ball it shows “Bull” in amber, with “Win the ball back” above it.
- The dartboard lights up the same field: your next goal or the bull.
- The dart chips show what each dart did: “Ball won”, “Goal”, “No goal” or “No ball”. Scores don’t matter in this game, so they are not shown.
- The caller announces the player and the target before each visit and the number of hits after it. When possession changes, you hear “Ball to Anna”.

Tips
How to win more matches
- Without the ball, aim at the bull. Nothing else counts until you win it back, and a bullseye scores a goal on top.
- Use the ball while you have it. Throw all three darts at your goal every visit. One bull from your opponent and the ball is gone.
- Free choice? Take the doubles you trust first, and leave the awkward ones for when you are ahead.
- New to it? Play 1 to 5 on singles. Stronger players can try all twenty on doubles, with only the bullseye winning the ball.
- Fancy another duel? Scram is just as quick to learn. One of you closes numbers, the other scores on the ones still open.
- More sport for two. In Tennis you serve and return on the numbers, and Snooker has you building breaks from reds and colours. Every duel side by side: darts games for 2 players.
